Roadmap

DaDesktop for training roadmap

  1. Training materials organization - Better integration with trainer materials, user notes, presentations, and so on.
  2. Auto Upscaling Desktop - if a participant's or trainer's Desktop runs out of resources, the system should automatically add more (CPU, RAM, Disk) without needing to stop the desktop.
  3. Real time subtitles with translations - for example, a trainer speaking English teaches Japanese participants; participants can read Japanese subtitles in real time (available for customers who selected "Preview features").
  4. Real time interpretation with AI - Japanese participants can listen to a real-time Japanese interpretation even though the trainer is using English.
  5. Participant assistant - the system assists participants during labs by suggesting the 'next move' or alerting them when an exercise was done incorrectly, offering much faster feedback when a user gets 'stuck'. AKA Participant Assistant Agent. (available in Preview features)
  6. Statistics - course coordinators and stakeholders can view user participation data.

DaDesktop for Work (DD4W)

  1. Public Cloud - currently DaDesktop for Work is available only for private deployments; the goal is to make DD4W accessible to the general public as a public cloud offering.
  2. Better encryption integration - right now, encryption setup is handled solely by the operating system. Allowing users to integrate it with DaDesktop, especially through a GUI, would make the process smoother (for instance, a user wouldn't need to type a password in the machine since the system already knows who they are).
  3. Auto-switch Remote replica - the system will create or detect the closest remote replica to minimize lag and improve the overall user experience.

DaDesktop Labs/Self-study

  1. The system provides users with feedback on their lab progress.
  2. Creator studio - lab creators can easily edit recordings online and sync them with lab instructions, desktop templates, and other resources (already available in Beta).
