Pricing

DaDesktop offers four flexible payment options:

1. Public cloud (starting at 3 EUR per day)
2. Private server (starting at 10 EUR per day)
3. Reseller or volume purchasing (starting at 0.1 EUR per day)
4. On premise
    

Public Cloud

Desktops are billed daily, beginning at 3 EUR per day for a standard Linux desktop equipped with 8GB of RAM, an 8-core CPU, and 50GB of SSD storage.

Each additional 8GB of RAM, 8 CPU cores, and 50GB of storage adds 3 EUR to the daily rate.

Windows machines carry an extra 1 EUR per day charge, though this fee is waived if you provide your own license.

Note: The daily charge for machines is calculated within a 24-hour period starting from midnight, based on the local server time.

 

Private Server

For predictable, fixed costs regardless of the number of desktops you run or resources allocated to a single desktop, you can purchase an entire server.

In this scenario, you are only constrained by the server's total resources, not by units or desktop count. Please contact us for more details.

 

Reseller or volume discounts

Discounts of up to 80% are available for resellers and high-volume purchases.

This option is typically suited for companies planning to:

1. Integrate DaDesktop with your own product
2. Resell it
3. Make large-volume purchases 
    

On-premise

The standard price for on-premise deployment is 6 EUR per core.

Case 1

A person uses an Ubuntu desktop with 8GB RAM, 8 CPUs, and 50GB of storage for 8 hours within a single day. 

Total price: 3 EUR

Case 2

A person uses an Ubuntu desktop with 8GB RAM, 8 CPUs, and 50GB of storage for a couple of hours each day over 5 days. 

Total price: 5 days * 3 EUR = 15 EUR

Case 3

1. A person uses an Ubuntu desktop with 8GB RAM, 8 CPUs, and 50GB of storage for 1 hour
2. The desktop is then deleted
3. Another desktop with the same configuration is created on the same day and used for 1 hour

Total price: 3 EUR

Case 4

1. A person uses an Ubuntu standalone desktop with 8GB RAM, 8 CPUs, and 50GB of storage for 1 hour
2. The desktop is then deleted
3. Another desktop with 16GB RAM, 16 CPUs, and 100GB of storage is created on the same day and used for 1 hour

Two machines were used, with differing configurations:

Machine 1 = 3 EUR

Machine 2 = 6 EUR

Total price: 3 + 6 = 9 EUR

1. A person uses an Ubuntu course desktop with 8GB RAM, 8 CPUs, and 50GB of storage for 1 hour
2. The desktop is then deleted
3. Another desktop by the same participant or trainer with 16GB RAM, 16 CPUs, and 100GB of storage is created on the same day and used for 1 hour

Total price: 3 + 6 = 9 EUR 

 

Courses

For Public Cloud and Reseller options, courses are billed to the Organization Owner based on users who created desktops during the course period.

Trainers

• If a Trainer is invited to a course, the Organization Owner is billed for that course.
• If the Trainer creates the course, the Trainer is billed for it.

• In summary, the Organization Owner of the created course is responsible for the billing.
