Pricing

You can choose from four payment options for DaDesktop:

1. Public cloud (starting at 3 EUR per day)
2. Private server (starting at 10 EUR per day)
3. Reseller or volume purchasing (starting at 0.1 EUR per day)
4. On premise
    

Public Cloud

Billing for desktops is daily, with rates starting from 3 EUR each day for a basic Linux desktop featuring 8GB RAM, an 8-core CPU, and 50GB of SSD storage.

Adding another 8GB of RAM, 8 CPU cores, or 50GB of storage costs an additional 3 EUR per day.

Windows machines incur an extra fee of 1 EUR daily. However, if you provide your own license, this charge is waived.

NB The daily charge for a machine applies to any time used within a 24-hour period calculated from midnight according to the local server time.

 

Private Server

If you prefer predictable costs regardless of how many desktops are running or the resources allocated to each, you can rent an entire server.

In this setup, limits depend solely on the server's resource capacity rather than individual unit counts. For further details, please reach out to us.

 

Reseller or volume discounts

Discounts of up to 80% are available for reseller and volume purchases.

This option typically suits companies that aim to:

1. Integrate DaDesktop into their product
2. Resell the service
3. Make large-volume purchases 
    

On-premise

The standard price for on-premise deployment is 6 EUR per core.

Case 1

A user operates an Ubuntu desktop with 8GB RAM, 8 CPUs, and 50GB of storage for 8 hours within a single day. 

Total price: 3 EUR

Case 2

A user runs an Ubuntu desktop with 8GB RAM, 8 CPUs, and 50GB of storage for a few hours each day over 5 days. 

Total price: 5 days * 3 EUR = 15 EUR

Case 3

1. A user runs an Ubuntu desktop with 8GB RAM, 8 CPUs, and 50GB of storage for 1 hour
2. The desktop is deleted
3. A new desktop with the same configuration is created on the same day and used for 1 hour

Total price: 3 EUR

Case 4

1. A user operates an Ubuntu standalone desktop with 8GB RAM, 8 CPUs, and 50GB of storage for 1 hour
2. The desktop is deleted
3. A new desktop with 16GB RAM, 16 CPUs, and 100GB storage is created on the same day and used for 1 hour

Two machines are used, differing in configuration:

Machine 1 = 3 EUR

Machine 2 = 6 EUR

Total price: 3 + 6 = 9 EUR

1. A user runs an Ubuntu course desktop with 8GB RAM, 8 CPUs, and 50GB of storage for 1 hour
2. The desktop is deleted
3. A new desktop by the same participant or trainer with 16GB RAM, 16 CPUs, and 100GB storage is created on the same day and used for 1 hour

Total price: 6 EUR 

 

Courses

For Public Cloud and Reseller options,  Courses are billed to the Organization Owner based on users who created desktops during the course duration.

Trainers

• If the Trainer is invited to the course, the Organization Owner will be billed for the course.
• If the Trainer creates the course, the Trainer will be billed for it.

• To sum up, the Organization owner responsible for creating the course is billed for it.
